**Dog Walking Liability Waiver & Policy for Owners**

Thank you for choosing Blitz & Bark Dog Walking Co. To ensure a positive and safe experience, kindly review and accept the following policies:

1. Liability for Injuries  

While we are committed to ensuring your dog’s safety and well-being, we cannot be held responsible for any injuries or illnesses that may occur during or after the walk. This includes injuries caused by other animals, environmental factors, or unexpected events. We will take every possible precaution to reduce risks and will notify you immediately if any issues arise.

2. Items Lost or Damaged

We are not liable for any lost or damaged items belonging to your dog (such as collars, leashes, or harnesses) or to you (including keys and personal belongings). Please make sure your dog is equipped with secure and durable accessories for their walks. If any items are lost or damaged during the walk, we will notify you promptly.

3. Behavior and Temperament

You must inform us of any behavioural issues, aggression, or special needs your dog may have. If your dog exhibits aggressive behaviour or poses a risk to others, we reserve the right to discontinue our services for safety reasons.

4. Emergency Situations 

If an emergency arises, such as your dog being injured or falling ill during the walk, we will promptly attempt to reach you. If needed, we will take your dog to the closest veterinarian for treatment, and any related expenses will be your responsibility.

5. Owner Responsibilities  

It is the owner's responsibility to ensure that their dog is in good health, up to date on vaccinations (e.g., Bordetella, Rabies), and free from parasites (e.g., fleas, ticks). Failure to comply with these requirements may result in suspension of services.

6. Cancellation or No-Show Policy

We have a 24 hour cancellation/no show policy. If we aren’t notified within that period you will be charged the full price of the walk with no refunds or credits given.

• By engaging our dog walking services, you agree to release us from any liability for injuries, lost or damaged items, or other incidents that may occur during the service.
